Joe Silvernale came to triathlon about seven years ago after getting a little bored with distance running. This is his first year on the Vo2 team. He also enjoys skiing, hiking and watching his daughters compete in cross-country, volleyball, and swimming. Joe's favorite races are the Boston Marathon and Ironman CDA. He has completed six Ironman races and several 70.3 races, including Clearwater. His favorite piece of tri gear is definitely his running shoes. Joe's 2010 goals are to PR Ironman CDA, IMC, and Boston, and to survive the Vo2 PC trainer sessions.
