Please join me in welcoming Annie and Rich to the team. Rich and Annie have been very active the past couple of weeks with the team, participating in the Saturday rides, Vo2PC rides, Sunday swims, track workouts etc and have decided to officially come on board. Great to have another husband and wife team on the team!

Annie Richardson-Lander grew up on a farm in rural Ontario, Canada. The surrounding landscape fostered a love for XC running and XC skiing. She has enjoyed many years of recreational running, including varsity XC, keeping pace with her husband (fellow team member Richard Lander) and the specialty of stroller pushing. She did her first triathlon in 2009, sharing the experience with four friends. Her goals for 2010 include several local Sprint and Olympic events. Annie also enjoys sharing her love of sports and the outdoors with her young children.
Richard Lander has been engaged in “multisport” for many years, running over the hills of New Zealand in the 1980s, bike commuting since the age of 14 and learning to swim at the age of 33. He competed in his first triathlon in 2009, at the Olympic distance, and looks forward to the next few years of excitement and improvement in the sport. Richard subscribes to the “life hack” concept, enthusiastically mixing daily commuting with running and biking training. Outside of work and training, Richard enjoys being actively engaged with his family in such activities as swimming, XC skiing, biking, camping, hiking, running and math homework.
