I haven't even finished my IM Canada race report yet - but here's another...
This past weekend, Sarah and I and Mary all raced the Black Hills Triathlon down south.
Sarah and I left the house around 6:15 for the drive down south. I felt like I had a good swim but it was slower than last year - I think it was long. T1 went well. On the bike, I got passed by another guy and tried to stay with him but my legs were tired. T2 was kinda slow but I don't know why. I like running on trails - my time was a little slower than last year on the run - I rode kinda hard. I finished in 5th. I'm pretty happy :). Someone from the third heat beat me by 1 second. :(
Mary and Sarah did great too. Mary flew on the bike and Sarah defied her sinus infection by winning her age group by 21 minutes. :eek:
