Hi,
Since we have several new members I thought I would post this note by way of brief introduction to this site.

I'm the site administrator and you can reach me by private message or email (chrisesposito4 at comcast dot net).

This site is primarily for communications between team members - bike rides, swim workouts, social gatherings, etc. Most of the site is not visible to the outside world (including search engines like google, yahoo, etc.). There is another site under construction by Sarah Morlidge that is going to be more the public face of the team, and more suitable for showing to sponsors, etc. You will be able to get to this site from the home page of that site.

There is a calendar here (see the 'calendar' link in the top navigation bar) for use in posting workouts and other events. You can post photos in your own photo gallery (see the 'VB Image Host' link in the top navigation bar).

if you have any problems using the site, let me know. General information about how to create posts and other site usage questions can be found under the 'FAQ' link in the top navigation bar.

There is an outstanding tech support issue with the ISP that I think is the source of a new problem that you will probably run into- clicking on some links will cause an ominous looking 'Forbidden: you don't have permission..." page to appear. If you look at the URL when this happens you will notice that in every case it ends in a '?'.

The temporary fix that appears to work (for now, anyway) is to simply delete the '?' at the end of the URL and then hit return. It's an ugly hack, but it gets you to where you wanted to go.

(For those of you with a more technical background, here's what I know of the cause. After looking at the underlying code, in each case this '?' *should* be followed by a session ID but this ID value is now blank. I *think* is due to a change in the version of PHP that the ISP is running, but if anybody is more intimately familiar with session handling in PHP 4.x and 5.x, please let me know).
