Sunday April 13th, 7AM start.
Really fun to arrange a trip with co-runners that you do not really know - a great opportunity to build some Team Synergy spirit :)
Each runner had 2 legs varying in distance from about 4 to 7 miles each.
Kathy had the early leg #1 start from Snoqualmie to Fall City, and at Fall city Jenn took over after a speedy transition, see pic 1.
After a solid leg #2 from Fall City to Remlinger Farm, Jen sent me off on the out-and=back leg #3. I handed the torch over to Chris who I believe set a new LT pace on leg #4 back to Fall City. I barely made it back to take pic #2 since the girls needed a caffeine boost on the way, see pic 3.
Ron did a spendid job with leg #5 up to Mill Pond, running down a cute girl and then forgot to get her number, see pic 4.
Kathy was gone in a blink on leg #6 and we barely made it back to North Bend for Jenn to take on the tuff, tuff leg #7 up to Rattlesnake Lake.
I had the joy of getting to run on the Iron Horse trail on the out-and-back 4.1 miles at leg #8. This looks like an awesome trail that I plan visiting again. Ronan says the views are amazing a bit further up the trail.
I could not get my HR quite in the right zone, but was still happy with my effort as I sent Chris off on leg #9 back down to North Bend, pic 5.
I think Chris managed to improve his LT pace yet again, that is twice in one day
Ronan was ready to give it 110% for the last leg #4, a 4 miler back to Snoqualmie, where I just had enough juice to join him for the finish line, pic 6.
I am not sure if we won the relay since results are not up yet :D
Back in the motorhome, we had a little party with beer and pizza and Jenn checked up on Cindy at IM Arizona, and we were all cheering for Cindy.
I had an awesome time and I truely enjoyed meeting new, fun members of the team.
Thanks goes out to all my new friends!
