Hey everyone,
I am moving to Boulder, Co tomorrow. I just wanted to say thanks for a great year of training and racing together. I am making the move for the benefits of training at altitude and to train with some of the best in the sport. I will also be going to grad school, possibly law school at CU in the fall. July will be an adjustment month for me, no racing, just getting used to the altitude. After this, I will be racing mostly elite amateur division in olympic races around the U.S., and then possible a 70.3 at the end of the season (sept, oct). So look out for my results and check my blog (damonbarnett.org) and facebook for updates and pictures. I will be back on holidays and sporadically during the winter months, so I will try to connect for some workouts so I can kick your asses. Best of luck with the rest of the season, I will be looking out for your results!

I didn't know you were moving - sad to hear it but a little part of me is happy, knowing that I move up a spot in the finishing order around here. :)
Damon - best of luck in CO! I'll be cheering for you.

I assume you will still be pulling Trination points for VO2 - you know it is a yearly membership ;)

Damon,
Enjoy Boulder and best of luck as you chase down your dreams. If you ever get the chance, ride the computrainer as fast as you can in front of the "elite" athletes and see whether you can top 60 - 62 mph. Then laugh and know that Max and I will be attempting to shatter our records weekly....

I wish you well Damon, nice to know you will be looked after by a fellow Brit in Simon Lessing...
Train smart, rest smart, eat smart. And don't stalk Crowie ;)

Seriously - have fun Damon - I would give my right arm to be young again - wait, I already can't swim :p
Heidi, does the posting of races for points "expire"?
If not, I bet there are teams out there just waiting to post all results the last day of the challenge, no? Just saying maybe there is strategy in this and my only little crummy race could be the "surprise" posting ;)
Just for the record, I did register but at the time Oliver was not available..
Good luck and have fun Damon!

Wow! That was quick! Best of luck Damon. Way to follow your dreams. I look forward to hearing about your sucess:) Let me know if you would like my friend Mary's info. She lives in Boulder and trains with Siri Lindley.
Have fun out there!

Wow - yeah, news to me too. I'll be out in boulder the last week of July doing some training, maybe you'll be adjusted by them.
Good meeting you. Someday I'll be able to say "I knew that guy when..." :)

Hey Hans, in the end the teams top 80 finishes will be used to calculate our total, so no suprises at the end really (tiebreaker is total participation, so all results count). Look under Persona for the Oliver race. Thanks!
