Re: Vancouver Half Race Report
Great job, Richard!! Congratulations on a solid race, and way to use the running competition to keep you going and nab an awesome run split. Glad you managed to make it home safely too!
Way to go!

Great job on your second 1/2 in two weeks and another very strong finish to boot. So I suffer from back pain on my roadbike when I ride it for longer times but I am really comfortable in the aero poisiton on my tri bike. Frankly I think you need to stop trying to use clip on's on a road bike and see about buying a tri specific bike. I know this means money but being comfortbale on your bike would make a big difference to your times.

Re: Vancouver Half Race Report
Great report Rich. I like the way you nailed the run and moved up 60 something spots! Ditto on Vancouver. It's one of my favorite cities.

Re: Vancouver Half Race Report
Thanks for all the encouragement.
Actually, I've got no clip-on aero bars. I decided that I was going to have a road bike and (eventually) a tri-bike. I wasn't going to do anything in-between. I'm hoping that we can pick up two tri-bikes for next season. We'll be watching the fall close-outs pretty closely. rich |
