OK; I finally found the admin setting I was looking for. If you want an email when there is either:

a) a new thread, but not new posts in existing threads (less email)

or b) a new post in any thread, including new threads (more email)

then send me an email or PM with your email address and indicate which choice you want. 5 people have done so already and their inboxes are probably clogging as you read this

If you only want to know about new posts or threads in certain forums, we can set it up that way as well; just let me know which forums you want email on.
